ReplyDeleteI think the only probably I have with this is there is no real "Oh shit what do I do!?" moment for the girl to really help the flow of how she feels about this. He goes from nowhere to be found to literally standing on her, yet the scenes show no story of how it happened. There really should have been a scene added before page 3 and after 1 where he shows up and she has whatever reaction you want. Did it plow through the wall? Crash through the ceiling? Sneak up behind her? Is she afraid of him? Is this what she wanted? Does she intend to put up a fight?. I think a single picture (or two) could really take this set to the next level from the small detail how she reacts to him. Don't get me wrong I like the set but, I think the emotion she gives from his presence is a big deal in a situation like this.
ReplyDeleteThere is no story behind this. I made several scenes with this model to see what fits best because I was getting tired of the medieval fantasy setting.
DeleteAt first I only wanted to make two additional pictures, one where she's held down and the second last one because people requested an all the way through.
I had literally no backstory in the back of my had when I made this.
Oh well in that case this is perfectly fine the way it is. I saw on Pix you said you wanted to try a book format so I thought you meant you was trying to tell a story in a few short scenes.
DeleteNo no. Don't get this wrong. I appreciate constructive critique but I really didn't have a story for that one. I just wanted to have some more than a solo pinup for the model to share with you and that's when that all the way through request came to my mind.

That book format thing was just like... let's try that one for once. There was nothing behind it. Just thought it might look cool but it turned out to be quite shitty. :)
To me personally, it was weird just cause of how the format is, two pages on screen is just so odd to me. I am a huge fan of All the way through and stomach deformation. It's one of the things that I have followed your work s long for, you just do it so well compared to others that try. I go to Sparrow for 2d and come to you for 3d. It's perfect!
